NCHER Membership Retention Video Contest
Share |

The National Council of Higher Education Resources (NCHER) is holding a contest for college film students to create a 1 to 2-minute video. Winner receives a $750 prize. The video will serve as a narrative for NCHER membership recruitment and retention. It should highlight NCHER’s unique benefits and explain why NCHER is the premiere membership association within the industry.

We are looking for something catchy, clever, humorous, and full of images while being light on text. The goal is to attract the attention of those in the higher education finance industry and get them to learn more about NCHER and join the association, or entice those who may be considering dropping membership to stay.

Interested students will pitch their ideas to NCHER staff show 2-3 video projects they have created. Participants must sign and include a consent form with their submission. All responses, including the ideas contained therein, will be considered the property of NCHER. Responders agree that the ideas are their own and may be conveyed to NCHER.

The winner will be notified by Tuesday, November 27. Once a winner is chosen, s/he will be given data, photos, video clips, etc., to include or use for research. NCHER staff will work with the winner throughout the process and will be given whatever details are necessary to complete the video. The final project will be due Wednesday, January 3, 2019.
