The Department published two Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) packages in the summer of 2010—one on a number of program integrity topics and another one specifically on certain programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation.

The Department of Education issued final regulations on October 29, 2010 covering a number of “Program Integrity Issues”. The following individual training modules were prepared by the NCHELP Regulations Committee to help explain these changes that are generally effective July 1, 2011 with the exception of “Verification” which is not effective until July 1, 2012.
