Announcements
This series of letters announces training opportunities offered by ED. The e-Library contains these "ANN" letters dating back to 1996.

Disaster
These letters were issued from 1997 through 1999. The letters identified disaster areas where guarantors and lenders were authorized to use disaster-related forbearance policies. This series of letters was discontinued after 1999.

Electronic Announcements
This section contains bulletins, letters and memos from Senior FSA staff. Electronic announcements were added to the e-Library beginning in 2005 and are arranged by the month in which the announcement was issued.

Financial Partners
These letters are addressed to ED's Financial Partners - guaranty agencies and lenders. This series of letters began in 2004, replacing the "G" (guarantor) and "L" (lender) letter series.

Foreign Schools
This series of letters started in 2010 to assist foreign schools with setup and transition to the Direct Loan Program.

GA Technical Updates
These letters advise guarantors of technical issues relating to NSLDS. GA Technical Updates dating back to 2000 are contained in this section.

General
The "GEN" series of letters provides guidance that applies to all participants in the Federal Student Aid programs. This section contains general distribution letters dating back to 1984.

Guarantor
These letters were addressed specifically to guaranty agencies, and the series was discontinued after 2003. It has been replaced by Financial Partners letters.

Guaranty Agency Director
These letters are specifically addressed to directors of guaranty agencies. These letters are not numbered like other series of Dear Partner Letters, and are displayed by the date the letter was issued.

Lender
These letters were addressed specifically to lenders, and the series was discontinued after 2003. It has been replaced by Financial Partners letters.

LLS Technical Updates
These letters advise lenders or lender servicer's of technical issues relating to NSLDS.

School
These letters were addressed specifically to schools. This series of letters was discontinued after 1997.
